Who?
This image comes from Microsoft's web portal, MSN, which is aiming to warn their audience of the recalls that were discovered this month. It is crazy the amount of items on the list. They're ranged in all food categories, even in animal foods. Even hand sanitizer and medical devices were added to the list!
Where & What?
Some of these food that manufacturers are believing to be making people sick come from different parts of the world. For example, H-E-B in Texas recalled some of their ice creams due to them possibly containing metals. Some basil herbs sold in Florida were taken off shelves due to the fears of them being contaminated with salmonella. Towards the middle of the article, a video can be seen that explains a hand sanitizer was found to be potentially leading to blindness and comas.
When viewers open the link provided above, they will be shocked to see how many items are on the list. It is long, but we should all be aware of the things we use and consume on a daily basis that are harming our bodies.
U.S. Food and Drug Administration
Specific research can be found on the FDA's recall list.
For example, FDA Recall list can be searched and people are able to view the long list of items taken off their shelves and why. Here are some of the most recent findings on their website:
